This renovation for the New York chapter of an international non-profit extends the organizations environmental awareness into the design.
Sustainable materials were used such as desks made of bamboo plywood and recycled plastic laminate. Translucent walls and glass partitions allow flow of natural light throughout the office.
Using the theme of transportation, maps of two cities were used as a pattern for the conference room glass and the metal screen behind the reception desk.
By including open and semi-closed work areas, along with a library and conference room, the office is able to adapt to a range of activities and working styles.
